Going Casual in my Costco clothes and Eliza B’s

Today it’s cold and dreary.  I want summer.  But I’m practical, too. It’s that time of the month again: three deadlines all at once.  Lucky me.  I have a massage scheduled for this afternoon.

A white crochet knit sweater with a white camisole underneath, tops off my skinny jeans.  Both the sweater and jeans are Costco finds.  The cami is from The Loft. I took a tip from 50Feeling40, with a tunic top over skinnies.

I slipped on my Eliza B’s just because I want summer so bad.Costo clothes

I love my Eliza B’s.  For more about these wonderful, made to order American sandals click here.  My first pair lasted 10 years.

So probably everybody knows about these little loopy things, but me.  I thought they were only for keeping my slouch shoulder sweaters and shirts on the hanger. But NO.  I can wrap them around my bra strap, right at the top of my shoulder and voilà, the sweater stays even along the hemline.

  1. Comfort is key, especially on days when I’m home and working. I never knew that about the straps in shirts – I’ll have to try it!

I am so happy others didn’t know about the straps. I couldn’t believe the difference in the way my sweaters stay put all day. I need clothes that I can put on and forget. The little straps really let me do that.

  2. Costco has some great clothes! I snap up their cashmere every winter. Cool tip about the straps.

I will look for those cash meres. I got my last two bathing suits at Costco; really like the fit and the price was fantastic.

  3. Is that what those ‘straps’ are for and WHO KNEW Costco had clothes! Much inspiration here! Thanks!

OhMy! So glad to help. I love my “new” discovery about those loopy thingies. Before things kept shifting on me.

  4. Too funny – one of the first things I do when I get new clothes home is to cut those straps off, otherwise they end up hanging out where they’re not supposed to! I must have been wearing my clothes wrong, LOL.

I know, Laurel. Me too. You gave me a google this morning.

  5. I didn’t know you could do that with those little loops. I just use them to keep wide necked items from falling off the hanger. Until now!

I feel like a scientist making a discovery now! But I’m almost sure that’s the design.
