Photo Friday: 18 years a G-Mom

It happened 18 years ago.

A bundle of wonder. Now he’s an adult.  Oh my! Where did the time go?

Okay, I finished my trip down memory lane.  I invite you to skip on over to Pierced Wonderings and take a look at some gorgeous sunrises.  Jen almost makes me want to upgrade from my simple iPhone photography.

  1. One day you think the diapers will never end. Then you suddenly realize it’s been 15 years since you changed your last one. As you prepare to change your first grandchild…

So true, Diane. And then you look at a grown grandchild and wonder: What’s next?

  2. When I look at photos, I get a bit wistful..you almost wish they could stay little sometimes!

Yes indeed. Yet, if they stayed little, we would miss a lot of awe filling moments. Wrestler #2just got a piece of legislation though Illinois’s stalled government that recognizes high school graduated who exhibit competency as global scholars. Of all my wishes for him, I never dreamed of such high accomplishments.

  3. Such sweet photos. Time really flies by so fast, doesn’t it? I remind myself of this daily as I go through the highs & lows of young children. Hope your grandson had a 18th wonderful birthday!

Yes Sarah, you investment now will be paying high dividends in the future. For you and the world.

  4. This is so sweet. I wish we could stop time during these precious moments. it all goes by so fast . By the way, sorry it took me so long to get over here—between the hurricane and then two birthday celebrations plus my upcoming trip this week, I’ve been swamped.

Marcia, I feel honored that you found time for me amidst a hurricane and two birthdays. Holy Mackerel.
