Photo Friday: The Beholder’s Eye

Weeds, hated weeds. I think they are beautiful testaments of the way life’s desire to persevere, to carry on, to endure.

I took one photo and applied different filters.  Which one do you like the best?

#1  No Filter

#2:  Chrome Filter

#3:  Noir Filter

I took the shot with my iPhone6.  No special lens or lighting except what nature provides.

  1. I love the first one! How do you like the 6’s camera?i just bought a Sony full frame digital camera and I’m in love!

I had the Sony CyberShot, which I loved. The battery/card lid broke and I needed a new camera. I hemmed and hawed about whether to upgrade my iPhone to a 6, or invest in a new camera. The 6 has a great camera, and with some hints about using it from the help desk, I’m improving. I also have a “Mini Photo Pro Lens Kit” from Restoration Hardware that is fun to use. The micro lens is wonderful. The best thing is that I always have my camera in my back pocket, so I can whip it out whenever the light or shadow strikes me.

The first one has no filter applied; just the natural light.

  2. They’re all great but I really like the black and white. It’s amazing the difference a filter can make.

I know what you mean,Ruth. The black and white looks so surreal.
