It’s cold and winter is here; summer still clings with all her might.  Sometimes, that’s the way I feel.  I love summer.  Still, there’s something invigorating about a brisk walk in crisp air.

Yes, I’m a Catholic.  A Progressive Catholic.  I am a Cradle Catholic.  I never went Catholic School.  I learned my catechism on Saturday mornings, bused in from the neighboring parish.  I’m more than a Sunday Catholic.  I love my Church.  I cheered when I read Pope Francis’s interview,  This Church with which we should be thinking is the home of all, not a small chapel that can hold only a small group of selected people.
